Our Vision, Our Purpose, Our Missing Statement.
We opened the store on October 11, 2001. At that time, we wanted to be Orlando's finest chocolate factory. One tiny store to supply the world. Over the last 5 years, we have changed quite a bit and are still evolving. Here, then is our newest statement as of June 21, 2005.
We want to provide to our customers and potential customers (whom we will call, simply, the entire world) excellent chocolate confections. We will make handmade candies, where possible, using our own time honored recipes, or recipes which we have "borrowed" from others which we think are better than ours. In any event, they will be scrumptious. They will also be visually appealing, even seductive. And passionate? That's right, our chocolates create passion. Just looking at our chocolates creates deep within the soul of even the casual observer, the most basic of all desires; hunger. The kind of hunger that cannot be quenched until every last available piece is consumed.
Our candies will all be made slowly, carefully,
individually. When we cannot make the candy by hand,
we'll use machines, but we will
never, ever use our feet.
We want to be perceived as fun, hip, and young (as well as tall, dark and handsome, but
then, who doesn't?).
We want everything about our company to reflect our hipness, and we want our stores to be exciting
and dazzling, where one would walk in and say,
"Holy Cow!, this is so cool !"
We want to provide an excellent value for our products and services and still
make a killer profit.
This is it. So far.

Something may go into these boxes someday, but I'm not sure
about what or even when, but I do know how and why.
And, of course, we all know about Who. Who's on first.
Check back later. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be worth it.
